Our Mission

Somali American Youth Parents Association (SAYPA) found in January 2016 with the sole purpose of supporting and educating parents so they could learn how to involve their children’s schools and how to support their children’s academic success. Also, creating social network among the African immigrants youth to share tips of how to overcome the obstacles of leaning so they can achieve in higher education, and develop long lasting relationship in life.

Cultural Training and Community Engagement

We know, “workmanship changes everything.” It is used as an approach to roll out political and social improvement the world over. SAYPA’s artworks program makes a personal space for the gathering here in Massachusetts to goad, empower, and lift each other through human articulations, including verse, music, theater, describing, painting, models, and that is just a glimpse of a more significant problem. As far back as a long time, SAYPA holds twelve workshops a year for youth to bounce into African immigrants’ marvelous traditions.
